I have taken the Blender starter pack a step further by adding some stuff and packaging it into an installer DVD ISO file with a GUI interface to make a complete Crysis Modders Pack.
Included on this DVD are Blender and all essential files to import/export Crysis/Far Cry models, plus the Blender vids, The Gimp (fer yer textures) with a normalmap filter and some tut vids, I have also included Paint.Net cuz it is a very powerful image editing/creation prog that handles dds files easily, and the MS .Net framework files that Paint.Net needs. I added the VLC Media Player as a last thought, just explore the contents and look fer the folder, it can handle most media files including quicktime.
With this package installed ya really don't need the SDK, and I can attest to that cuz I ain't got it installed. I thought this might take me a week or 2 but I kicked it in the grass and got it done in 2 days. The Rar file is 592 megs but it is 780 megs uncompressed.

Umm you should do me a huge favor lol :/ Well I kinda lost my internet for now, so I have to download things to my 1gb mp3, from a library, and at the library you only get 1 hour of internet a day, so I kinda spread it out. But I can't download it in an hour. Can you kgb archive it for me? (Its like winrar/7zip but it has a really high compression rate) its fine if you don't want to
